MAY 3 MORNING WEATHER BRIEFING
GOOD MORNING!
Clouds, clouds, clouds. After a dreary-looking Monday, Tuesday is starting with more stratus clouds. BUT....I do think these will part to allow for some sun during the midday and afternoon hours today.Highs today in the lower 60s.Wednesday promises to be slightly warmer with some sunshine. A cold front will approach late in the afternoon but it is going to run out of steam fairly quickly. So, not much more than a shower or two late Wednesday into Wednesday night. Wetter weather to our west.
THURSDAY: DAMP, COOL
Thursday is still shaping up to be a damp, cool day with temperatures no better than the mid or upper 50s. Rain will be light and not much more than drizzle on some occasions.
"DECENT" FRIDAY
While Friday is not likely to be bright and sunny, there should be at least some sunshine and temperatures will be near the seasonal average. I think it is dry...never mind the light green the GFS model has over the region:
MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND
Looking good! A warmer day Saturday with temperatures getting into the mid 70s. A cold front will arrive late Saturday/Saturday night with showers and thunderstorms...but the timing is good in that most, if not all, of the rain will fall during the night.Setting the stage for a pleasant, seasonable Mother's Day on Sunday. Highs should be in the 60s.
LONG RANGE
Not a REAL warm pattern but certainly warmer than the current pattern.
