WEDNESDAY WEATHER BRIEFING
GOOD MORNING!
Yesterday was pretty nice...today even better. Tricky forecasting today as temperatures will be highly dependent on the amount of sunshine we get. Not much sun and we will be near 60 (still mild!). More sunshine than expected and we could reach the upper 60s. I am starting to lean in the warm direction as there are some holes in the clouds already this morning.
Our hi-res short term model, which can overcook things at times, has us near 70(!) this afternoon. It's probably too high but not by much. Notice the front sagging across Lake Erie and quickly dropping temps along the lake shore this afternoon.
There is only a small chance for a passing shower this afternoon as that front creeps south.
DAMP THURSDAY AFTERNOON
As we've been talking about all week, Thursday will turn wet by midday/early afternoon as a cold front marches into the state. There is a small chance for thunder. Clouds will inhibit instability.
Rain will probably average 0.40-0.60 inches.
Severe weather threat mainly south of the Ohio River.
ONE DAY COOL SHOT
In the wake of the front, Friday afternoon will be some 30 degrees cooler. There might even be some snowflakes around through midday. Brrrrrr!

NICE EASTER WEEKEND
Saturday looks really pleasant. After a cold start, temperatures will recover to the 50s.
Easter Sunday continues to look better. Highs should be well into the 60s! Any rain with an approaching system will hold off until very late in the day or at night.
LONG RANGE:
Next week is not looking too shabby temperature-wise but confidence is high that the first week to 10 days of April will be pretty chilly.
