WEDNESDAY WEATHER BRIEFING
(Click images to enlarge)ENJOY today if you can! 70+ days are rare at this time of the year. The percent of days that had highs of 70 or higher from October 20-31st (going back to 1930):
6%
Highs today:
THURSDAY:
A cloudier day as a cold front slowly slides through. This front will be pretty moisture-starved so we should not see much more than very spotty showers.
FRIDAY:
A cooler air mass will be overhead but a nice day overall with afternoon sunshine. Watch for areas of fog in the morning. Dry and chilly for high school football.
SATURDAY:
Clouds will thicken by early afternoon and the next front can bring spotty showers toward late afternoon and evening. It will be milder than Friday with highs in the 60s.
SUNDAY:
After an unsettled night, the showers should push away by early Sunday. A nice fall afternoon Sunday if you want to rake your leaves....or rake mine.
NEXT WEEK:
Looks like a cool week although not that far below the averages (at least for the first half of the week). There may be a cold air mass arriving in time for Halloween although there is some uncertainty there.
