Good Tuesday morning…..
After a 3-day stretch of chilly weather, our midweek turnaround starts today. A warm front is lifting northward this morning. There are some clouds with this feature and the day will average partly sunny.
Temperatures will jump into the mid and upper 50s today, about 7-10 degrees above average.
EVEN WARMER WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
We should see temperatures in the 60s Wednesday and Thursday before a cold front arrives. Wednesday is looking largely dry with only a small chance of a late-day shower as the front to our north wobbles around.
On Thursday, a cold front will march east into the region. Showers are most likely from midday on; there is a chance for thunderstorms as well.
FRIDAY COLD SHOT
Temperatures will be about 25 degrees colder Friday; we may stay in the 30s or lower 40s. Might even see a morning flurry. The afternoon is likely to be fairly sunny as high pressure builds in.
Temperatures will warm back up over the weekend and Easter should be mild. The good news is that the morning is likely to be dry, so umbrellas should not be needed on the way into services. The highest chance for rain will be late in the day.
An up and down pattern is likely for the rest of the month. There are strong signals for a cooler-than-average pattern as we get beyond April 2-3.
